Time for David Vitter to resign.
While I was on my honeymoon I woke up one morning to hear that conservative defender of marriage David Vitter, the man who held himself on the high pedestal of morality, admitted to his use of prostitutes in the DC escort scandal.
Many conservatives are quick to point out other Democrats who have also strayed from their marriage vows. However, this is not a matter of Vitter and his vows to his wife. This is a matter of Vitter and his elevating himself on that high pedestal of morality. People should not be surprised when someone who lifts himself up so high is caught and falls, making a louder thud.
Vitter also came forward years ago and stated that Clinton needed to resign because of his affair. I think Vitter needs to follow his own example and resign as well. I would say that he should put his money where his mouth is but that is probably what got him in this mess to begin with!
