		<description>Well, it's not that they ignore the Establishment Clause. They will state that what they are doing is not "establishing" religion because in their minds as long as the government is not saying "Christianity is the state religion" then they are not violating the establishment clause. 

It is more like they fail to understand the establishment clause and that the simple acceptance of a religious belief by government causes government to support a religion because it is supporting those beliefs. 

But other that that we are in complete agreement.</description>

As a Catholic, I guess I believe in intelligent design also, but I do not want taxpayer money spent to promote intelligent design.  Intelligent design is inextricably interwoven with religion, and our religious beliefs dictate how we feel about the intelligent designer.</description>
