No, im not kidding. Of course I said that on another forum.

"How many people running for president have their pastors marry them, baptize their children and have a cozy relationship with them for over 20 years and have that same pastor molest a kid?"

That was not the point I was trying to make. Should Catholics leave the church because priests in the church molested kids? No. So involvement in a church does not mean that one agrees with the actions of specific clergy within that church on all issues.

"Obama did a piss poor job defending himself and for his association with racist hate speech and should be condemned."

Actually, from what I have seen Obama has done a great job explaining that he rejects certain things that his pastor has said. He has also done a great job at explaining why such anger still exists today.

"How about him not respecting the flag and national anthem "
Snopes has some information on that. While there is one example of him not putting his hand over his heart, there are other example where he does (including the video where he leads the pledge and clearly places his hand over his heart). And I was NEVER shown to put my hand over my heart for the national anthem, only the pledge. The only thing I was shown to do during the anthem was to remove my hat.

"not wearing a flag pin?"
Not wearing a flag pin? Seriously? Wearing a flag pin is just a gimmick that people use when they run for office. I did wear a flag pin when I ran as well. However it was a gift that someone gave to me so I wore it out of respect to the person who gave me the gift. Running for office, in and of itself, is a form of patriotism and someone who doesn't wear a flag pin should not have their patriotism questioned.

On Rezko: Just read this

"His actions scream anti Americaism."
Please, give me a break.

"Discrediting him for his involvement in his church would be like discrediting any catholic because a priest in their church molested a kid. You don't just give up your faith because you disagree with the actions of a leader in that faith."

You're kidding, right?

How many people running for president have their pastors marry them, baptize their children and have a cozy relationship with them for over 20 years and have that same pastor molest a kid?
Oh and then write a best selling book with the title of one of his sermons?

Not too many people I suspect.

Obama did a piss poor job defending himself and for his association with racist hate speech and should be condemned.

Now shall we talk about his shady dealings with the Syrian Rezko?
How about him not respecting the flag and national anthem or not wearing a flag pin?

His actions scream anti Americaism.

Ralph: Did Barack Obama say "God Damn America" and "Whitey is giving AIDS to the Blacks"?

No he wasn't. He is not saying that you should not condemn the words. He himself has said he doesn't approve of some of the things his pastor has said. What Obama is saying is that you should not condemn the anger behind those words because the the ANGER is justified.

There's a difference between being angry and saying "God damn America" and spreading propaganda like Whitey was giving AIDS to the blacks.
That's hate speech and no matter how much Obama tries and wiggle his way out of this one, it's not going to work this time. He's hoodwinked the public up until now. No more. The public can see right through him now.
