Avman likes to try and play the race card whenever possible, bringing up the false idea that the Democratic party is not the better of the two parties when it comes to equal rights for all people.

Sometimes Republicans amaze me though. I have seen them tell white racists in the 2006 LA01 election to not vote for Democrats because Democrats are "N****R LOVERS" and then turn around and tell black people to not vote for Democrats because they take black people for granted.

His article is somewhat misleading in that it implies the Party apparatus favored one candidate over another during the primary election.

Remember, ostensibly, the reason Glasper was compelled to make the robocalls is because Jackson was somehow rebuffed by the Party. Unfortunately for Glasper and Avman, that's just not true.

ActBlue has nothing to do with the Party. It's a reflection of INDIVIDUAL donors in the grassroots.

Anyway, I am not sure what the heck the KKK has to do with anything or why some people even raise the specter of the KKK so flippantly.

He uses some really loaded language: "whip up on a black guy," etc. Maybe he thinks this will attract some attention, but I doubt it can inspire a meaningful dialog.

Moreover and more importantly, THE FIRST BLOG ENTRY ABOUT DARRELL GLASPER'S RACE WAS AT LOUISIANACONSERVATIVE.COM. It wasn't me at CenLamar. It wasn't Ryan at the Daily Kingfish. And it wasn't the folks on the list serve who broke this story.

Glasper defected to the Republican Party! This isn't about racial politics; it's about party politics.
