House moves to eliminate Jindal’s ethics shell game

Despite the best attempts of Jindal and his cronies to play an ethics shell game, making us believe that we had stronger ethics rules when in reality ethics violations where made harder to prove, the house approved legislation to change the ”clear and convincing” burden of proof back to “substantial”. Kudos to those in the house who moved to pass this needed legislation. Now the Senate needs to step up and send this bill to the Governors desk and force Jindal to either put his money where his mouth is or have his hypocrisy exposed.

There may be hope for this legislature. They have shown on a couple of occasions that they will not be a rubber stamp for the Jindalistas. I hope they keep it up.
