Curt Schilling needs a lesson in logic and civics

Thursday, December 20th, 2007

Curt Schilling stated that Roger Clemens needs to give up his Cy Young awards if he cannot refute the accusations made against him in the Mitchell report. I wonder if too much blood seeped out into the bloody sock. Perhaps he didn’t worry about learning logical reasoning or civics lessons while preparing for his career in Baseball.

It is illogical to demand someone prove a negative. How is Roger Clemens supposed to prove that he did not take steroids? This is one of the reason why our legal system includes a presumption of innocence. Curt should remember that before telling people to prove negatives.
